REGISTRATION
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), with financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is thrilled to announce the launch of an online facilitated course aimed at exploring the essentials of effective national forest inventory implementation, from planning to reporting.
Goal: This online facilitated course explains the key phases of a national forest inventory, from planning to implementation, and from data gathering to reporting.
The course is offered for free and is open to all interested forestry professionals, decision-makers and enthusiasts.
Calendar: This is a 5-week learning experience, from 11 September to 21 October 2024, with an expected daily workload of just one hour.
Where: FAO e-learning Academy collaborative moodle platform
Language: English, Spanish and French (preferred language can be chosen upon registration)
Learning paths: The course is organized in modules with a flexible structure, allowing participants to choose from 3 available learning paths.
Certification and final test: Complete the learning journey with a competency-based final test for each learning path and earn digital badges to showcase your acquired competencies.
