Established in 2007, the African Forest Forum (AFF) is a non-political, non-governmental, and not-for-profit international organization. It brings together individuals dedicated to the sustainable management, responsible use, and conservation of Africa’s forest and tree resources—all in support of environmental sustainability and the socio-economic well-being of the continent’s people.

With over 15 years of expertise, AFF stands as a leading knowledge broker, policy advisor, convener and advocate on issues related to sustainable forest management, climate change, and green growth across the continent.

Why AFF is a Trusted Authority

Through high-impact publications, policy briefs, training manuals, and digital tools, AFF empowers stakeholders to make informed decisions and implement best practices in forest management.
