The United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) is the world’s highest-level decision-making body on the environment. Convening under the theme of multilateral environmental action, UNEA-7 will bring together environment ministers, policymakers, scientists, civil society, and the private sector to address the planet’s most pressing environmental challenges.

UNEA-7 will focus on strengthening global environmental governance, accelerating implementation of existing commitments, and promoting innovative solutions to support the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Key outcomes are expected to include new resolutions, declarations, and policy directions that reinforce international cooperation on issues such as climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and circular economy pathways.
