The African Forest Forum (AFF), with funding from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), is organizing a regional training workshop on sustainable forest management, leadership, forest governance in Africa in Nairobi, Kenya on 20-24 May 2019.

The goal of the workshops is to strengthen the capacity of policy and decision makers in African forestry and related sectors on leadership and advocacy skills to influence national and regional agendas that pro-mote sustainable forest management. Also, the workshops seek to enhance good forest governance in Africa. The attainment of these two objectives is expected to enhance delivery of forest ecosystem goods and services in the context of global environmental change.
