The African Forest Forum (AFF) is commemorating a decade of advancing the sustainable management, wise use and conservation of Africa’s forest and tree resources for the socio-economic well-being of its peoples and for the stability and improvement of its environment. The anniversary event will be attended by more than 100 stakeholders in African forestry. It will include a launch of eight training compendiums on forest-based climate change adaptation, mitigation and carbon trading as well as a book titled, “The State of Forestry in Africa: Opportunities and Challenges.
