The contest will fund research projects on Andean forests and climate change in Andean countries
The Andean Forests Program opens the call for the 2017 Research Grants Fund, which aims to promote the generation of scientific information on the impacts and response options of Andean forests to climate change.
The contest will finance research carried out in the Andean forests of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia and Chile and which address some of the thematic areas prioritized in the Andean Forest Research Agenda: a) environmental policy for sustainable governance ; B) integrated management of landscapes of Andean forests; C) management and restoration of Andean forests and d) biodiversity and ecology of Andean forests.
Applicants may be of any nationality and must have at least three years of research experience. To participate, you must complete the following form that will be available until June 16. The results will be announced on July 21.
