Your are invited to attend the 2018 MSc Course in Tropical Forestry for which DAAD scholarships are available. The course is taught in English at Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), one of the 11 German Universities of Excellence.
Over many decades, the international orientation and socio-economic focus have made this 2-year MSc course unique in Europe. You will benefit from the international background of research & lecturing scientists supervising your field research in the tropics. Besides socio-economic and general aspects of tropical forestry, the course also includes specific topics of climate change, carbon forestry, REDD+, agroforestry and land use change. Some of the best Master Students will have the chance to enter later into our PhD program. Presently, over 300 graduates from our courses are working in tropical countries and international organizations, many of them in top positions.
Another plus: As public university TUD exempts students from tuition fees!
