FAO is looking for a research partner to collaborate on the development of two important methodological frameworks:

  1. A framework for assessing economic losses and damages from slow-onset events in agrifood systems.
  2. A framework for assessing non-economic losses and damages from extreme weather events and slow-onset events in agrifood systems.

This research will contribute to the forthcoming technical guidelines for assessing climate change-associated loss and damage in agrifood systems, including selected local/national case studies from affected communities.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday October 25, 2024 17:00 CET, and submissions can be made until Friday November 15, 2024, 17:00 CETdirectly to Xiaoxiao.Wang@fao.org and Makie.Yoshida@fao.org
