In 2019, the UNGA will hold a high-level review of progress made in addressing SIDS’ priorities through the implementation of the SAMOA Pathway. DESA’s SIDS Unit and OHRLLS released the anticipated timeline of preparatory activities leading to the mid-term review. Negotiations on the modalities for the review are expected to begin around May 2018.
