May 22nd marks the International Day for Biological Diversity celebrated under the theme “Our solutions are in nature”. This year each day leading up to it will highlight interconnected topics related to the biodiversity agenda. This week comes at a time when the world needs to understand more than ever the importance of intact natural systems, and how our health is linked to planetary health and our well-being is linked to nature’s well-being.

On this occasion, we have created a Social Media Pack that demonstrates how ‘everything is connected’ and highlights the importance of nature and what it provides us. It contains post and copy suggestions and links to the full Our Planet episodes which are, for a limited time, free on YouTube and offer the chance for people to keep learning while many schools are currently closed. There are also some assets for World Bee Day (20th May) and World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development (21st May).

How you can help on the day:
● You can post content and information from our Connect2Earth pack on your social and digital channels using
the hashtags: #Connect2Earth #ShareOurPlanet & #BiodiversityDay or #Biodiversity2020 to help
spread the message. The pack can be downloaded here: https://connect2earth.org/international-day-for-biodiversity-2020/
● Ask others within your community to download the pack and use the assets on their social channels.
● Share/re-tweet posts directly from WWF channels here:
