Registration and Second Call for Abstracts | 13th Oppenheimer Research Conference
BACKGROUND
The ORC is a space for showcasing and discussing the natural and environmental sciences, and conservation and sustainable development in Africa.
It is a meeting place for change-makers to shift the dial on biodiversity research and conversation. While the focus is impact in Africa, the conference welcomes global perspectives.
Conference goals include:
- Profiling African research excellence
- Empowering young researchers and environmental stewards
- Building a network of biodiversity professionals
- Hosting impactful conversations
The ORC takes active steps to reduce its environmental impact.
DEADLINES
- Registration and first call for abstracts: 27 February 2024
- Second call for abstracts: 8 April 2024
- Abstracts submission deadline: 3 June 2024
- Communication – acceptance of abstracts: 2 July 2024
- Deadline for acceptance of abstracts: 26 July 2024
- Distribution of conference programme: 16 September 2024
